AccuLink Throttle Position Sensor

The AccuLink TPS system is the combination of a sensor, brackets, and linkage that bolts directly to most of the popular carburetors. This system replaces the traditional cable actuated throttle position sensor.

Why did we create this? We believe that great results can be achieved with a very careful installation of a cable operated throttle position sensor. There are hundreds of people (including us!) who use it. However, the cable-operated system can be difficult to get perfect. Some custom fabrication is usually required, and not everybody gets consistently great results.

We studied this problem at length and came up with a solution that fits the most popular carburetors: Holley, Edelbrock AFB, and Rochester QuadraJet. The AccuLink TPS offers the same or better performance with less hassle. It is compact, and has a very direct linkage. Installation and calibration require a few simple steps and no custom fabrication.

All new COMPUSHIFT kits ship with the AccuLink TPS for no additional charge unless otherwise specified. Because the cable system and the AccuLink TPS use the same basic sensor and compatible wiring harnesses, we also offer an inexpensive upgrade available to existing customers.

Customers who are using a Lokar™ cable, may wish to purchase the Acculink Bracket for Lockar Throttle Cables .

Customers using a Barry Grant Six Shooter™ carburetor and manifold should use the Six Shooter Acculink .
